Injury Prevention for Runners: Foot and Ankle Workshop
Time & Location
About the Event
Feet are the foundation for running performance. They give sensory feedback to the brain and along with the ankles give a stable base to express forward propulsion.
The feet and ankles are also invaluable to inury prevention, helping minmise excessive pronation/supination and help stabilise joints up the chain such as the knee and hip.
In this workshop we will look at assessing range of motion (ROM) and stability of your feet and ankles before going through practical strategies to enhance movement and thus performance. The workshop will suit all abilities of runner, no matter what distance you cover. Everyone will benefit from the information contained within.
As part of your attendance you will receive an electronic copy of the resources used within the workshop including video links to all exercises and assessments covered.
